Welcome

Veiderhof is located in the small and quiet village of Versciaco, which is part of the touristic destination of San Candido, located only 2.5 kilometres from the Austrian border. At an altitude of 1.130 m above sea level, this unique place offers various leisure activities. Additionally, the ski area “Tre Cime Dolomiti” is reachable within a few minutes. Veiderhof offers four renovated flats, a cheese dairy with home-made products and a stable for horses. We, family Weitlaner would be pleased to welcome you at Veiderhof!

Our farm

Surrounded   by   meadows   and   woods   in   the   middle of   the   mountain   landscape   of   South   Tyrol,   you’ll find   yourself   in   the   perfect   environment   to   escape from   everyday   stress.     Our   little   guests   have   the opportunity   to   relax   in   the   presence   of   our   pets: We    have    cats,    chickens,    guinea    pigs    and    even rabbits!   And   if   they’re   in   the   mood   for   something else,   there’s   a   children’s   playground   nearby   with   a swing,    a    slide,    a    seesaw    and    a    sandbox.    In    the meantime, you can relax on our sunbathing lawn.

Summer holidays

If you want to enjoy your holiday in the mountains to the fullest, you've come to the right place. Our farm is the perfect starting point for hikes, walks, ambitious mountain bike tours or easy cycling tours , such as along the well-known cycling path “ San Candido — Lienz”.

Winter holidays

In the winter season, the fresh snow transforms the landscape of the Dolomites into a romantic winter postcard. The area is the perfect place for long winter hikes or snowshoe trekking with great opportunities to go cross-country skiing and sledging . Ideal for every nature and sport lover. The ski area “Tre Cime — Dolomiti” offers 115 kilometers of slopes just a few steps away from the farm.

Our apartments

Escape the stressful everyday life and enjoy your stay in our comfortably furnished apartments. All our apartments are equipped with a dishwasher, a coffee machine, an induction cooker, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a safe. In the winter season you can use our ski room with a boot dryer.

Cheese dairy Veider

In the farm's own cheese dairy, you’ll find high quality Tyrolean grey cheese and farm butter. Years of experience and, above all, the use of the purest natural milk as the basic product make for a one-of-a-kind taste experience!

Horse accomodation

You can spend your holiday with your own horse at our farm. Whether it be in winter when you’ll be able to ride through the snow-covered meadows and forests surrounded by a breathtaking panorama, or in summer, there is nothing stopping you from taking a horseback ride and visiting the various alpine huts.
